Porcelanite Dos is present at the Marbella Design Fair for the second consecutive year, which takes place from 4 to 13 November at the Palacio de Ferias, Exposiciones y Congresos Adolfo Suárez in Marbella. Once again, Porcelanite Dos is participating with its own space, this time called Time O'Clock, which has been designed by the interior designer Alberto Aranda.
Time O'Clock, the Porcelanite Dos space designed by Alberto Aranda
Time O'Clock is the name of the Porcelanite Dos area, conceived and designed by the interior designer Alberto Aranda, which is an invitation to reflect on the quality of our leisure time. The concept of the project revolves around a relaxation area, where time stands suspended in favour of the visitor's disconnection.
Purist forms, simplicity in the elements and neutral materials take over the space and lead us to the Shibumi Buddhist philosophy, creating a corner of calm where we can recharge our energies.
In an ingenious play of curved shapes, the interior architecture of 'Time O'Clock' represents the dial of a giant clock. At the centre of the project is an impressive circular bathroom whose porcelain floor tiles from the Baltimore 1821 collection transport us to the inside of a clock. A customised composition by Alberto Aranda, which combines different shades of the collection in a unique design.
One element that stands out with a special prominence within the Time O'Clock space is the flooring: with a design made exclusively by Alberto Aranda with different porcelain stoneware collections from Porcelanite Dos, we find a carefully detailed framework. A large mosaic that, like a carpet, covers the entire space, delimits the areas and provides a large decorative dose.
The Marbella Design Fair
For the fifth consecutive year, the Marbella Design Fair combines contemporary art, design and interior design on the Costa del Sol. For 11 days, visitors can explore the fair's 3,000m² of exhibition space, where 50 different projects are on display, each exhibitor giving shape and lifestyle to their space with a specific decorative intention, using pieces from more than 150 exclusive brands.
Undoubtedly, an essential event for design lovers, as it brings together the most innovative trends in design, interior design, architecture and art.
