Porcelain Ceramic tile is a very resistant material, and thanks to its compactness it does not absorb water or stains.
But it requires a specific maintenance programme to remove the soil and the staining agents that, due to the normal usage, will inevitably build up on the surface.
The Maintenance Programme developed by Faber is divided into 3 different stages and gives to the user the possibility to maintain unaltered the feature and the aesthetic look of the porcelain ceramic tiles after the installation.
STAGE 1
AFTER INSTALLATION CLEANING
The objective of the after-installation cleaning is to remove all the residues coming from the installation of the porcelain ceramic tiles (adhesive, grout) and all the soil caused by the normal construction-site activities.
The after-installation cleaning is a very important phase because, if not correctly removed, all the residues coming from construction and installation activities, will create a layer on the surface that will absorb water, stain and soil, hiding its original beauty. Moreover, it will be much more difficult to maintain a floor where the after-installation cleaning has not been done.
When to make the-after installation cleaning?
This specific cleaning must be done just one time, if possible after all the installation and construction activities in the construction site.
STAGE 2
DAILY ORDINARY CLEANING
The objective of the daily ordinary cleaning is to keep clean the surface by removing soil, dust and the residues that may build up on the surface due to the normal surface.
When to make the daily ordinary cleaning?
The frequency of the ordinary cleaning must be evaluated according to the surface use.
High traffic floors (shops, restaurants, public places...) should be cleaned daily.
Low traffic floors (private houses) can be cleaned once or twice a week.
STAGE 3
STAGE 3 PERIODIC OR DEEP CLEANING
The periodic clean is performed to have a deeper cleaning of the surface, to remove the dirt and soil that cannot be removed by the ordinary daily cleaning. It is used to remove the stubborn soil accumulated on the joints or on the floor areas more difficult to reach with the ordinary cleaning.
When to make the periodic or deep cleaning?
The frequency of the perioduc cleaning must be evaluated according to the surface use.
High traffic floors (shops, restaurants, public places...) should be cleaned once every two or three months.
Low traffic floors (private houses) can be cleaned once or twice a year.
